My first official all oil painting!
Done through the tutorial "Beach with Parasols" in Oil-painting Workshop by Aggy Boshoff. It's a pretty neat book! The image is a little duller after scanning. The perspective and lighting are a little funky too, but that's because I stayed as close to the original as possible. I'd say this painting is not so much realistic as it is representational. As always, feedback appreciated : ) I give permission for *100ThemesChallenge to display this piece in their gallery. |
